Ya I know its being too long that I was writing only about Northern states of Our country, we will go further but its not worthy without writing about this jewel of Northern destination, this must be a dream place to visit for everyone. I think one who live in India and is not thinking about visiting there is just next to impossible. I personally love this place a lot and ready to visit there whenever got the chance, after all it’s the Heart throb of the country.
Frankly speaking I am very curious to saw the place, but it needs a holiday at least for a week and its just too hard for me. But yes whenever i will get the chance I surely pack my bag and run towards it. And it will like a dream come true for me. I heard a lot from my friends who have been there, so decided to write something about it, well all this is about my opinion but now let us talk about the place.
It lies in the northern state of Jammu and Kashmir and is present between the Great Himalayas and Pir Panjal range. Today this state denotes a large area includes the Indian administered Jammu, kashmir and Ladakh region the Pakistan administered Azad Kashmir or they call it Gilgit Baltistan and chinese administered territories of Aksai chin and the trans karakoram tract.
The place has a long History and its a different matter but we are not gone talk about that as we have to visit there to feel the beauty of the nature and the place. So here I am going to tell you about how to reach the place and what to see there.

HOW TO REACH:

Traveller planning a trip to Kashmir often wonder how to reach there, however this beautiful valley is well linked with rest of the country via air, train and road. Those who wants to travel by air can reserve their journey upto Srinagar airport, which is about 15- 20 km away from the city center. One who prefers to travel by train can book their tickets to Jammu railway station which is the nearest railway station after that there are several state transport buses and private buses or taxis operate on regular basis from neighboring cities for Srinagar and other major cities of Kashmir.

THINGS TO DO :

To see the best of this place you must do things, all of the major and amazing things to do in Kashmir – you must try all of them. Now lets walk around with our very first place is– You must take a Shikara ride(In Dal lake srinagar or in Manasbal near sonamarg), Spent night in a house boat, go for Gondola cable car ride, must go in Gulmarg Golf club, Go for shopping, Trek the hill.

Places to visit in Pahalgam :- Rider river and amusement park, Aru village, Sheshnag lake, Betab valley, Saffron field, Anantnag sulphur spring, Deer park and Zoo.

Places to visit in Sonamarg :- Khir bhavani temple, Ganderbal, Thajiwas Glacier are few attration points over there.

Best time to visit:

Anyone when planning to visit this beauty of nature, the very first question arises in everone’s mind is ” when to visit”, so lets get the answer of this question.

The best time to visit is between March – october. During this time the weather condition in Kashmir is at its best as this period covers three seasons i.e, spring(March to early may), summer(early may to late august), autumn(september to november). From December to Early March is the winter season for Kashmir when the whole valley wears a white blanket of Snow, so one who loves skiing and chilling weather than winter is the best time for them.
